I have an exciting opportunity to join a fast moving asset management company who are primarily based in Cardiff. Due to growth, the company have decided to spread their traction by opening up a Bristol office. The platform they have built provides focus on data, collecting it accurately and consistently in the field and combining it with third party and proprietary data to identify trends and opportunities.They are now looking for a Lead Developer to be able to lead the development of the platform to be able to target architecture based for the website, servers and analytics and reporting solutions.
What will you be doing?
Lead a small group of developers, ensuring the team works effectively and meets its objectives.Ensure the appropriate processes, systems and people are in place to continually improve as a team and that the applications are built to meet the needs of the businessEnsure the system is available, secure and performs wellSupport hiring and training to support the business growthSkills and responsibilities required:
Strong JavaScript experience ReactNodeWorked with cloud technologies like AWS, sever-less/lambdaExperience of working in an agile environmentKnowledge of Elasticsearch and KibanaExperience of leading a software development based team of 3 or more.
