The Role
You will be providing support to organisations varying in levels of size, operating in a variety of different sectors. You will be responding to technical issues, threats and attacks through the use of secure network technologies.
You will need to have strong problem-solving skills, with an interest in not just troubleshooting problems, but also coming up with innovative long-term solutions. As such, you will need to have a real passion for Network Security and an interest in personal development. Continuously studying product knowledge, known issues and troubleshooting techniques throughout the support teams.
You'll be walking into a busy, open plan operation centre that has a genuine buzz and excitement around it. Working alongside talented engineers, whilst also having the opportunity to be mentored by experienced professionals.
Key Skills
Exposure with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools, covering LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, routing, switching.Cisco certification to CCNA level minimum.A background in a support environment working at a 3rd line level.Possess technical knowledge of at least one of - F5 Load balancers / Checkpoint of Fortigate security technologies.The Company
