As a Security Assurance Specialist, you will be providing security governance across technology throughout the organisation. Compliance with security policy is important to comply with the companies risk appetite, but also as it forms the basis of many contracts with customers.Role duties;The provision of second-line security assurance across Technology.Undertaking second-line assurance audits of security, particularly technical controls.Carry out Technical Security Assessments and write up your findings.Ensuring that critical security controls are operating effectively.Ensuring the Technical Assurance Framework is operating effectively.Providing the Technology point of security contact for all second line assurance work related to compliance with Technology.Skills and knowledge;
You will have a good cross section of security knowledge covering:Security Standards and principles - ISO, PCI, GDPR/DPAReview of the standard and remediation of any issues identified.Security standards, benchmarks and risk assessment frameworkIdeally you will have exposure of using IRAM2 solution to streamline the information risk management assessments.A sound knowledge of enterprise risk management.Desirable certifications:
