SC CLEARED TEST ENGINEERCORSHAM6 MONTH INITIALLY Candidates are required to hold active SC Clearance or be willing to undergo SC Clearance. Client Overview:Would you like to join a global leader in IT Services?Our client are at the forefront of innovation to address the entire breadth of opportunities in the evolving world of cloud, digital and platforms.Role Overview This role is for an Integration Test and Trial Engineer (IT&T) who is part of a team responsible for various testing activities for a Military System.Carries out general testing activities on application or infrastructure projects, programs or services to supply which enables stakeholders to make informed decisions around progress to the next development stage or release.Understands a given requirement and can create use cases, design test cases, create test scripts and establish associated data in response to that requirement. Execution of test cases; recording and analysing results to provide reports on test activities and results to identify test incidents and risks and assisting in incident resolution.Can work independently or as a member of a team with limited supervision under the direction of a Test Manager. Key Accountabilities:Creation of test cases and identifies test data in response to defined and/or derived requirements.Design analysis and derivation of requirementsExecution of test cases and recording of associated results in accordance with test plan(s).Test results checking and reporting.Test Incident logging and support.Collection of testing related measurements and metrics.Support the continuous improvement of test process and activities.Responsibilities:Produces test cases that address clearly defined requirements.Produces test documents that are precise, clear and unambiguous.Ensures that all test activities are logged and that an up to date audit trail is available.Works in an organized and methodical way. Key Skills Required:Certified Testing background (ISEB/ISTQB) with a minimum of 5 years' experienceFamiliarisation in Microsoft and Linux environments; Architecture, Security, and Services (further information requested and will provide in due course)SC ClearanceSelf-motivated demonstrating commitment, rigour, flexibility and integrity.Team player with a positive outlook.Suitable candidates should submit their CV in the first instance.
