DescriptionSenior SQL Developer- Innovative Marketing Firm - LeedsJoining a small team, this is a crucial role, responsible for supporting the company SQL environment but also in the future development of the tools used for both client and internal planning and management reporting. There is plenty of potential for progression from both a technical and career viewpoint, and a meaty system development project to get stuck into.Job DescriptionMaintain and develop robust and effective CRM system and processes to improve staff productivityManage and maintain the SQL environment in a manner to ensure maximum business systems uptime is achievedConfigure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and securityEstablish and document a continuous improvement and monitoring program in relation to the SQL and database environmentParticipate in code reviews with your line manager and provide feedback and guidance to the business to identify if efficiencies can be gained from analysing our current scripts and stored proceduresAnalyse, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolutionPerform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours ProfileThe successful candidate will be a passionate and ambitious individual who already has a solid grounding in a SQL environment and is looking to expand on this and take on a challenging role with more responsibility.From a technical perspective:Proficient with Microsoft SQL Server 2014 - 2016Understanding and experience in creating and modifying various database objects; Tables, Views, Procedures and Functions etcUnderstanding and hands on experience of SQL Server administrationProficient in T-SQL and advanced T-SQL functionsIt would also be beneficial if you had knowledge of the following:MS BI stack (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS)MS Power BIExperience developing web applications using C# Job OfferThis role can offer a lot of learning and growth opportunities for the right candidate, along with a competitive salary and a range of benefits, including:25 days holiday (and 8 Bank Holidays)Company PensionLife AssuranceFun, social environment - birthday off, free fruit, early finish each Friday, social eventsSenior SQL Developer- Innovative Marketing Firm - Leeds
