Job DescriptionOur client is an American multinational information technology company, with operations in over 170 countries and is one of the most prestige companies in the world. As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for the technical design, implementation and operations of public cloud environments. Advising and shaping technical best practices, working in conjunction with architects, product owners, systems engineers and other business stakeholders to deliver assigned project tasks. Implementing designs to ensure security, scalability and robustness of all created services.Essential Criteria -The role requires a critical mix of the following skills: Experience as an engineer for cloud infrastructure or cloud-hosted softwareUnderstanding and experience of emerging cloud services and data architecturesExperience in working in an agile software development environmentUse of DevOps CI/CD practicesKnowledge of AWS or AzureDesirable SkillsAWS or Azure certificationPrevious experience with MOD, agency and customers with sensitive informationExperience working with a number of agile workflow tools including: JIRA, Confluence, AgileGood use and understanding of tooling such as Git, Jenkins, Terraform, CloudFormationExperience at working with agile at scale using frameworks such as SAFe or LeSSKnowledge, Skills and Experience RequiredStrong experience of developing and operating cloud environmentsExperience using DevOps technologiesHolds associate or professional cloud certificationsGood knowledge of AWS infrastructure, IaaS, continuous integration and development pipeline and any relevant automation toolsKnowledge of architecture, development and operation of critical systems within a DevOps environmentAnalytical and root cause analysis skillsPosition Requirements: GG10 Cloud Engineer contractor - to work on AWS projectsIf you'd think you be suited please submit your CV at the first instance.
