Data Risk & Controls Analyst - Insurance

£500 - £550 per day

Client is a leading Lloyds Insurer based in the City of London, is actively looking for a Data Risk & Controls Analyst to join them on a contract basis (6 months with view to extend). The selected individual will be responsible for improving the Data Controls Framework across the business

Responsibilities:

* Assess the As Is state of the current control frameworks

* Conduct relevant Gap Analysis

* Conduct risk discovery on current data workflows

* Work with the business to identify requirements

* Work closely with relevant Heads of Departments to ensure that appropriate solutions are put in place

* Delivering on urgent MI requirements

* Transitioning functions to relevant strategic analytic tools

* Managing the data sourcing and model requirements

* Work closely with all relevant stakeholders to ensure deliverables are met

Key Skills:

* A proven track record in the end to end delivery of data focused projects within an insurance organisation (preferably London Market)

* Experience in data governance, quality, planning & design

* Experience in delivering robust data risk controls

* Demonstrated ability to effectively manage the end to end business analysis activity from design through to implementation

* Strong understanding of Data and MI delivery

* Exposure to Data Strategy and alignment with IT Strategy

This role is offered on a 6-month basis; however it sits on a programme that is due to run for the next 12 months so the likelihood for extension is strong.
