Lead Infrastructure Architect - VDI

£650 - £800 per day

An exciting opportunity has just arisen for a Lead Infrastructure Architect to join a Global Consulting Firm, working on-site at one of their Tier One Banking clients based in London. The Lead Infrastructure Architect will be responsible for providing technical leadership to support the design of a new strategic VDI platform.

Lead Infrastructure Architect Requirements:

* 10 years experience delivering End User transformations - must have 2 successful projects at Global Financial Services organisations.

* Experience of at least 2 VDI implementations, ideally on a global scale.

* Expert level understanding of VDI architecture i.e. Builds, Storage, Virtualisation, Physical Infrastructure, Datacentre, Application Delivery, Network etc.

* Expert level understanding of all major integration points i.e. Cloud, Identity Management, Entitlements Management, Authentication, CMDB, Naming services, Monitoring, Security alerting etc.

* Expert understanding of operational processes as they relate to efficiently managing platforms in complex global environments with professional experience of changing operational process e.g. release management

* Professional experience leading teams across professional services and client organisations is desirable.

The Lead Infrastructure Architect will be paid between £650-800pd dependent on experience for an initial 3-month contract with views to extend. We will be looking to shortlist for interviews next week so please apply now for immediate consideration.
