Senior JAVA developer

Our client Ennovision is looking for a seasoned JAVA developer to work on a cutting edge corporate bond e-trading platform. An opportunity for an enthusiastic software engineer to join as a senior level developer working on a core trading system.

Role and Responsibilities:

Develop new functionality for and maintain the company's fixed income e-trading platform for institutional credit product trading

Initiatives include development within the order entry/management system, product enhancements and new workflows for trading, and server-side programming and messaging

Perform above duties utilizing Oracle, Java, Swing, Ant, server-side and client-to-server technology, multi-threading, GUI screens

Improve the scale and performance of the growing system

Production support, including investigating and fixing production issues

Coordinate with business analysts and quality assurance on a daily basis

Present technical designs of work performed to the various groups (including Development, QA, BA and the business)

Required Technical Skills:

Minimum 6 years of enterprise software development experience

Excellent core Java skills

Enterprise RDBMS (Oracle and/or SQL Server)

Experience with high-speed, high-volume transactional systems

Good understanding of object-oriented design patterns

Extensive experience in multi-threaded programming
