Citrix Infrastructure Engineer

£575 - £625 per fday
An exciting opportunity has just arisen for a Citrix Engineer to join a Global Consulting Firm, working on-site at one of their Tier One Banking clients based in London. The Citrix Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for supporting the design, engineering and implementation of a new strategic VDI platform.
Citrix Engineer Requirements
* Must have a minimum 5 years experience as an Engineer delivering Citrix solutions for major End User transformations - AT LEAST 1 successful project at a Global Financial Services organisation.
* Must have experience of at least 2 VDI implementations, in an Engineering capacity, with successful migration of >30k end users, ideally on a global scale.
* Must have industry awareness with implementation experience of multiple primary virtualisation vendor solutions (Citrix, VMWare, Microsoft).
* Expert level understanding of theCitrix stack:
* XenApp and XenDesktop.
* Netscaler (MPX and VPX)
* Provisioning Services (PVS)
* StoreFront
* Implementation experience of integration between VMWare (ESX, vSphere and vCenter) and Citrix.
* Good level understanding of all of the major components of a VDI architecture.
* Good level understanding of all major integration points i.e. Cloud, Identity Management, Entitlements Management, Authentication, CMDB, Naming services, Monitoring, Security alerting etc.
* Good level of understanding and experience of developing solutions to meet Global Financial security, risk and compliance requirements.
The Citrix Infrastructure Engineer will be paid around £575-625pd dependent on experience for an initial 6-month contract. We will be looking to shortlist for interviews next week so please apply now for immediate consideration.
