Working with the Business Intelligence & Analytics Manager you will provide actionable strategic information leading to insight and improved business decision making. The Senior Data Analyst provides detailed data analysis, Insight and Business Intelligence both internationally and in the UK. The Senior Data Analyst provides detailed data analysis, Insight and Business Intelligence both internationally and in the UK. Key responsibilities: Analyse data (Policy, Claim, Call, Operations, Marketing, etc) to see trends, patterns and changes over time. Seek opportunities to utilise enhanced Decision Analytics / Business Intelligence to bring new approaches to analyse / utilise data Provide detailed data analysis of specific data cohorts from multiple sources and recommend remedial actions to improve performance. Work with management to prioritize business and information needs. Proposals for future business development, influencing the project portfolio. Locate and define new process improvement opportunities. Provide sectorial advice, understanding key trends and changes to the Insurance / Risk markets. Create, maintain and enhance quarterly business reports for senior management in the UK and Europe Provide data and support BI reporting to management and external parties. To support Managers to manage the key risks within your department. To undertake any other duty or responsibility that may reasonably be allocated by your Manager/Company's Senior Management Team. Key Skills: Previous experience working as a Data Analyst / Insight Analyst OR Data Scientist within a data function. Familiarity with BI technologies and products (e.g. SAS, SQL, Power BI, Cognos, Qlik Sense, Tableau). Understanding of key analytical software. Must be able to work under pressure to meet crucial deadlines. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to effectively work on multiple projects in a demanding fast paced environment. Positive attitude that embraces change. A methodical and practical approach, with excellent attention to detail. Ability to interact with all levels of seniority, both internal & external.
