Spring Technology are currently seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join one of our clients who are an expanding business within the automotive finance industry. Due to continuing growth they are now looking for a Senior Compliance Executive to come on board and play a pivotal role within the Compliance department. You will work closely with the Head of Compliance to deliver various projects and initiatives both internally and with multiple external partners.
Key Responsibilities
*Oversee and manage the internal compliance housing platform in line with the company's requirements and ensure all data is recorded correctly
*Control and manage the company's introducers & dealers administrative requirements, with both internal and external stakeholders
*Work closely with the Head of Compliance in administering and preparing various tasks for the on boarding of new dealers or introducers
*Play an integral role to the companies complaints function, designing new processes and procedures for junior associates to abide by and provide support & advice to the compliance team where needed
*Where required, you will check documentation and approve cases that require escalation to the Financial Ombudsman Service and make sure all responses are actioned within agreed SLA periods
*Work with various departments, planning and aiding the delivery of multiple projects
*Design various training / coaching programmes to enrol throughout the business to ensure compliance and to reduce the risk of GDPR breaches
*Implement any new regulatory change and learn how this can impact the businesses operations
*Ensure that all business requirements, including, but not limited to, policies, procedures and processes are upheld throughout the business to stay FCA compliant
Experience
*Experience working in a financial services / motor finance organisation within compliance
*Strong understanding of the Financial Conduct Authority, the role they play and how they regulate businesses
*Experience of leading or supervising a team of Compliance Associates/assistants
*Previous experience of conducting training sessions such as creating presentations, process and procedure booklets, performing quality checks and mentoring
*Confident in delivering ideas and suggestions in both formal and informal settings where required
*Should be an excellent communicator (both written and verbally)
*Good understanding of consumer credit / motor finance organisations (preferable)
*Able to work under pressure and prioritise
*Able to take ownership of projects and deliver to strict deadlines
*Strong passion to learn and develop and be successful
