Role Overview We are currently looking for a Quality Systems Director to work from home for a Contract Research Organisation. As the Quality Systems Director you will be responsible for the quality team with line management duties and work towards development, improvement and daily management of the companies Quality Management System. You will carrying out various different GxP audits including system audits. Duties and Responsibilities Your duties and responsibilities as the Quality Systems Director will be varied but your main duties will involve:You will be responsible for audit plan management and preparing, conducting and following up on all types of internal and external GxP audits including, but not limited to, System, investigator site, document, PV and data management.As the Quality Systems Director you will manage the budgets and be accountable to the VP of Quality for all financial matters.You will develop new QA SOP's and contribute to continuous improvement of the department.Your role will include contributing to business development of external quality assurance services and providing input for proposals. Skills and ExperienceTo be successful as the Quality Systems Director, we are looking to identify the following skills and experience in your profile:Relevant Degree or Masters and a number of years of industry experience working as a Quality Systems Manager, preferably in pharmaceuticals or with a CRO.Previous industry experience in auditing within GxP areas and awareness of global trends, government policies and regulations in the clinical trials area is essential to your application.Industry experience in clinical research carrying out monitoring, data management, drug safety and training is essential to your application.
