Contract Senior Python Developer

Our client are pioneers in utilising machine learning AI technologies and applying them to cyber security threats to seek out and isolate advanced cyber threats, delivering intelligence in real-time. We have been instructed on a sole agency basis to assist in the hire of a Contract Senior Software Developer, with solid experience of coding in Python. The role will be based in London City.

Your role as Senior Developer will be to play a lead part in growing the company's early prototype capabilities into mature software platforms. Your role will consist of hands on Python programming, supporting the organisation's cyber security capabilities, and in time, you will also lead a small team of developers.

Key skills:

*Solid experience of Python programming

*Experience of managing and mentoring teams and development processes

*Backend development

*Scrum / Agile knowledge

*Management of the software lifecycle (for cyber security products ideally)

*Experience of cyber security, applying data science to AI (Artificial Intelligence), ML (Machine Learning) ideally

*SQL (PostGres) and NoSQL datastores eg Elasticsearch would be beneficial
