An exciting career opportunity has arisen for a data focused Business Analyst to join a prestigious global company, within a hybrid role, as part of a close-knit IT Strategy Team at an exciting time of growth. You will form part of the Data Team with IT Strategy , reporting into the Head of IT Strategy, working alongside the Infrastructure and Applications teams within this experienced department.As the Business Analyst, you will be responsible for assessing data models and Metadata to ensure they are in line with the correct protocols and principles. You will also be communicating with stakeholders and IT professionals to understand business needs and ensure a wider understanding of the data aspects of projects within the company.This role would entail the successful candidate developing and maintaining data models for the business, including you being responsible for producing business definitions and dataflow diagrams. Additionally, you will also be ensuring that the best possible results are delivered to customers by designing and following high quality business processes and internal controls.Key skills and experience required for the Business Analyst Role:Proven experience within a Business Analyst Role.Experience of data modelling or working with data models, master data or metadata.Knowledge of or exposure to the data management process.Understanding of how data fits into a business and the concepts of managing data in a business environment.This is a great career opportunity for a candidate looking for a new challenge, who will help to scope out this area of the IT Strategy Team and work with them to develop their own career path within the business.Business Analyst: Data Modelling, Data Modeller, DMBoc, Business, Data Management, Data Warehousing, Data Analyst, BA
