They have more than 2,200 employees and offices in 23 countries. Their UK offices are in Ascot, Cambridge, Liverpool, Manchester, Glasgow and Edinburgh.Their target market is companies that work within the Food & Beverage and FMCG field and who require tailor made solutions in areas like logistics, process, and packaging optimisation and production operations. They provide them with consultancy services, project management, and turnkey solutions.The Role:They are looking to recruit a full-time Project Design Engineer specialising in Process, working in a team within the company for their customers predominantly in the food industry. The role will be based at their office in Ascot, with regular travel required in the UK and abroad.The role would suit a Time Served Apprentice or Graduate with a degree in either Chemical Engineering, Brewing and/or Distilling, Dairy Technology or Food Technology.Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Develop/produce process flow diagrams and concept design schematicsDelivering process solutions within their various projectsCarry out design and feasibility studies to meet client capex plansPrepare engineering specifications and technical documentationThe Candidate:You would need:Able to work in a team and on own initiativeIT literate in the use of Office including Word, Excel & ProjectAn enquiring mind, willing to learnExperience health and safety requirements and risks associated with FMCG or manufacturing sites.Client facing and interaction skillsWritten communication and interpersonal skillsAnalytical and problem-solving skillsTo be flexible, positive accurate and proactiveSkills to demonstrate commitment to company and client standardsProficiency in using Auto Cad as a draft and designing toolPreferred background, working in the Food and Beverage industry (FMCG)Understanding of hygienic designPlease click on the APPLY button to send your CV and Cover Letter for this role.Candidates with the experience or relevant job titles of; Production Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Process Design Engineer, Food Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineer, Process Engineer, Operations Engineer, Production Projects Engineer, Design Engineer, Production Operations, Project Coordinator, Project Management will also be considered for this role.
