IT Configuration Analyst

c. £50k base + bonus +bens

Full time with potential 1-2 days working from home per week.

As a trusted and established IT recruitment partner to this global financial services organisation we have been asked to assist in the hire of up to four individuals with applications configuration / applications integration / applications implementation experience.

Our client currently utilise a few third party software products that are used by several thousand internal users. Given the complexity of IT systems and the operational delivery model significant and on-going application configuration is needed.

Key duties:

Analysis and assessment of customisation and configuration requirements

Management of small system changes and bug fixes

Management of JIRA backlog tasks

Analysing, configuring and maintaining external application integrations

Executing system configuration based on requirements

Supporting the delivery of MI requirements

Provide 2nd line support to the Service Desk

Assess and resolve configuration issues in a timely manner

Coordinate with 3rd party supplier for development requests

Manage resolution of reported bugs and development issues with 3rd party supplier,

targeting scheduled releases, patches, fixes (as applicable)

Coordination of multiple system environments

Provide support for system releases

Review system configuration and recommend changes to enhance functionality

Skills / Experience needed:

Software configuration / Software Integration

Any knowledge of XPLAN or CommPay or Worksmart configuration helpful.

Financial Services Industry background helpful.

Knowledge of software development cycle
