QA Test Engineer / Software Tester (Manual Automation Linux Windows Java C). Would you like to work on complex and interesting systems that provide daily challenges; collaborate with a friendly and upbeat team and improve your skills whilst progressing your career?

You could be joining a scale-up energy trading real-time market data / trading platform. As a QA Test Engineer you will help ensure the quality of the core, real-time trading platform using a variety of testing methods including Black Box, White Box, Functional, Integration and Performance testing. You'll partner with software developers to review and understand software specifications and write comprehensive test plan and test specification documents as well as creating and maintaining automated test platforms and related infrastructure. You'll be working in a modern software development environment with Agile teams and testing in production.

You'll be working in a collaborative team environment in Cambridge, parking available.

Requirements:

Broad range of testing experience

Must have cross platform experience with Linux and Windows

Ideally you will have experience of testing software components written in Java and / or C

Familiar with automated test tools such as Selenium, SoapUI and bug tracking tools such as Trac, Bugzilla or JIRA

Collaborative with strong communication skills

As a QA Test Engineer / Software Tester you will earn a competitive salary (to £50k) plus benefits.
