Junior Finance Analyst - LONDON - £200-£300 - 1 monthJunior Finance Analyst - LONDON - £200-£300 - 1 monthThe work location is in Paddington, LONDON and is a 1 month contract.The pay rate on offer is between £200 - £300 per day.The role is working for a well-established, multi-national retailer and specialises in clothing, home and luxury product.The Group Finance team is updating the segmental disclosures and have started the activity of re-stating previous periods' data to include the changes. This involves creating financial journals and updating allocation drivers in the finance systems.We are looking for a finance analyst who will liaise with multiple finance teams to collate the journals and changes to the allocation drivers, update the templates in the systems, run the allocations and work with the owners of each areas to check if all costs are allocated and reported as expected.

Key accountabilities of the role includeHelp the Reporting Analytics team to collate journalsMake appropriate template updates in the client's systemsFinancial consolidations and updating dataRun the allocations and work with owners of each area to ensure all costs are allocated and reported correctlyAct as the point of contact between the team and other relevant areas (planning, foods, etc.)Key skills and experienceUniversity graduates with minimal experience are welcomeUnderstanding of financial accountingVery well organised with great attention to detailNo systems knowledge required, but knowledge/experience with reporting consolidation applications (Power BI and SAP BPC) would be a bonusStrong communication and willingness to work in a team
