Senior Software Engineer Java Developer (Camel OpenShift microservices Java SpringBoot). Would you like to take a lead role whilst remaining hands on with technology and enjoying perks such as flexible working (core hours 1000-1600, one day a week at home?)

City based Investment Management firm with multi-billion dollars under management is seeking a technologist Senior Software Engineer. Your role will focus on leading the team responsible for middleware and enterprise scale integrations of data centric financial trade systems, developing microservices mainly using Java, Camel and SpringBoot.

As a Java Developer you'll be based in fantastic City offices with a professional and dynamic yet friendly and collaborative team environment with flexible working (core hours 1000-1600, one day a week at home).

Requirements:

Strong core Java development experience

Experience with Apache Camel and working on a microservices environment like OpenShift

Good knowledge of Service Orientated Architecture (SOA)

Leadership experience

Excellent communication skills
