Are you committed to helping us regulate health and social care within England?

We are looking for individuals who are caring, demonstrate integrity, work well as part of a team and always strive for excellence in everything they do. Together we can make sure health and social care services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate, high-quality care and encourage care services to improve.

Let us tell you a little bit about the role....

As the IT Asset and Configuration Lead you will be central to the design, deployment and operation of CQC's IT Asset and Configuration Management policies, processes and functions. These will underpin the provision of efficient and effective IT Service Support, and deliver visible business benefit and excellent customer satisfaction.

This is a newly established role and you will join us at an exciting time, as CQC transitions away from a traditional outsourced supplier model, selecting our own new partners and strengthening our internal capability for strategic service integration and management.

The IT Asset and Configuration Management function will be integral to and be supported by CQC's Service Management Platform, ServiceNow and you will help to optimise this and ensure that up-to-date and verified information on the status of service assets and IT infrastructure is available to other IT service management processes.

What we're looking for from you...

You will have experience of defining, documenting and implementing Asset Management and Configuration Management processes for both hardware and software Configuration Items and have direct experience of delivering this with ServiceNow and the exploitation of associated device management solutions (Microsoft SCCM and Intune). You should have an in-depth understanding of service management framework principles and processes have solid database design and architecture experience.

You may have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or be able to demonstrate equivalent and relevant experience and you should hold relevant ITIL v3 certifications.

Closing Date: 26th January 2020 at 11:59pm

In line with the Care Quality Commission estates strategy, we are planning to move our London office from 151 Buckingham Palace Road to 2 Redman Place, Stratford, East London in late 2020.
