Are you committed to helping us regulate health and social care within England?

We are looking for individuals who are caring, demonstrate integrity, work well as part of a team and always strive for excellence in everything they do. Together we can make sure health and social care services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate, high-quality care and encourage care services to improve.

Let us tell you a little bit about the role....

As the Service Management Platform Manager, you will lead the deployment, development and operation of CQC's new Service Management Platform built on ServiceNow, and be instrumental in helping CQC Digital deliver high quality IT services and provide an excellent customer experience.

This is a newly established role and you will join us at an exciting time as CQC transitions away from a traditional outsourced supplier model; selecting our own new partners and strengthening our internal capability for strategic service integration and management.

You will bring your experience with ServiceNow to play a key role in working closely with our chosen implementation partners on the design and implementation of ServiceNow,  and the transition to ongoing management and help us to shape and mature the IT Service Management capabilities that will help us make our new vision for customer-centric service delivery a reality.

What we're looking for from you...

You will have previous experience and expertise with ServiceNow implementation, administration and development and be certified in: System Administration; Advanced Administration; Scripting in ServiceNow; and Application Creation. You should have a solid understanding of the application development life cycle process, including requirement analysis and a Strong knowledge of JavaScript Web 2.0 Technologies (or similar programming languages).

You will be a great team leader and have some management experience and you may have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or be able to demonstrate equivalent and relevant experience.
