My client is looking for a Network Team Lead to take ownership of the Network team (onsite and field), you will manage a team of five network engineers to help deliver a variety of enterprise scale projects and keep abreast of BAU workload.The role will be split 60:40 between leadership:technical - working on the following technologies:Checkpoint firewalls, Cisco ASA, Cisco Catalyst and Meraki.Client DetailsFantastic opportunity to join a well-established Logistics/Distribution business based in the Wiltshire area.DescriptionDesigning, installation, support, maintenance and development of the Wincanton Network, telephony, Security & Site operations. Includes core networks, LAN, WAN and Site based networks as well as 3rd party managed servicesThis role is both hands on and management with the ability to manage 3rd party suppliers and services supporting critical systems and offices.Managing 3rd party Network suppliers ensuring they are performing to contract with performance and capacity in mind. Account and Service management will play a key role in day to day activities.Ability to ensure all network services are built and run to best practices, up to date with security in mind.ProfileCisco CCNP/CCSP/CCDP certificationUnderstanding of infrastructure topologiesITIL v3 Foundation CertificateExperience of working in project environments and delivering work packagesWAN and routing protocolsCheckpoint/Cisco ASA Firewall configurationPrevious leadership/management experience is highly desirableStrong communication skillsExcellent supplier/3rd party management experienceJob Offer£43,000-£45,000 + bonus + car allowance
