IT Security Analyst (Cloud Security)

Cloud or Cloud-based technologies are becoming more and more prevalent across the IT industry, whether it be AWS, Azure, O365 or Google's Cloud effort. There is more and more emphasis on moving away from the traditional on-prem environment. With that in mind, my client is looking for an IT Security Analyst to come and join their Central Birmingham team. A good understanding of overall Security techniques such as ID, Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Management as well as your usual Firewalls and Web Applications would be beneficial but we're here to talk Clouds really. And I don't mean those fluffy water vapours in the sky. They are looking for a bit of an SME across Cloud Security, they are an Azure environment currently but there are enough translatable areas that i'm sure previous experience with the likes of AWS will be absolutely fine. This is a large organisation and they need to know their environment is free from DDoS, Malware, Ransomware and Hackers using best practice techniques, policies and processes. That's where you come in...The likes of CCSP, CCSK, CCSS etc would be the icing on the proverbial cake so don't sweat it if you've not got one but if you have, it would be a rather large step in the right direction.
