A growing company is seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to join their technical team where the primary focus of this role is organisation and high levels of service delivery. The company is offering the successful candidate a bonus, laptop and a mobile phone. The role is a mix of business as usual and also involves a balanced amount of project work in addition to forming a core position within a skilled technical team, this is a highly challenging and dynamic opportunity. As the Technician, you will be capable of providing technical skills to an external client base at the first and second line in a professional, fast-paced business environment. Full driving licence and own transport are essential. As an IT Support Technician your duties will include:Managing and allocating incoming enquiries.Understanding and participating in the company’s technical service delivery.Providing internal and external assistance on first- and second-line technical issues and assisting other members of the team with client support.Maintaining and contributing to the development of service delivery standards. To be a successful IT Support Technician you will have the following skills and experience:
Excellent customer service skills and confident in providing support to clients with daily IT issues.Proficient IT knowledge including firewalls, data/telephony networking and client/server technologies.Experience of working in an IT support environment.Ability to think strategically about clients’ IT needs.Full driving license and own transport are essential.The ability to write proposals, relevant documents and composing quotations.Clear and efficient reporting skills.
