Due to a period of growth and an exciting upcoming IT strategic ERP replacement project, a worldwide manufacturing company has a new vacancy for a Systems Support Analyst to join its highly experienced and stable team in Livingston, West Lothian. The role is working Monday to Friday with a 3pm finish on Fridays and comes with great benefits including 33 days holiday, employer contribution pension scheme, and quarterly bonus.   The Systems Support Analyst will be responsible for helping users of a legacy ERP and Payroll system across multiple UK and European manufacturing sites as well as managing the interface APS and Data Collection solutions. Exciting projects are in the pipeline, central to which is the replacement of the legacy ERP solution and the successful person will be a key member of this project team, involved in data cleansing, data migration and redevelopment of required interfaces.    As the Systems Support Analyst, the role will see you: 
Build knowledge of existing ERP & Payroll systems, including customisations developed to support the UK business operation, through training & knowledge transfer from existing IT resources.Resolving ERP/Payroll-related issues and developing enhancements in a timely manner.Logging calls and solutions in a helpdesk system to promote cross-functional assistance and knowledge transfer within the IT department.Managing interfaces to supporting systems including APS and building knowledge of these in order to provide development and support capability.Ensuring compliance with various audit requirements including SOX, and implementing improvements based on audit recommendations.Assisting and enhancing in-house developed MS Access database solutions used throughout the facility.Assisting data cleansing & data migration activities through the development of extract programs from our Legacy ERP application. Skills, qualifications and experience required by successful Analyst:
Technology qualification with a minimum HND, ideally Degree level or equivalent.Significant experience of working in an IT Systems role within a manufacturing environment is essential.Legacy ERP support, ERP implementation experience as well as experience of data migration and data cleansing.Knowledge of payroll and advanced planning scheduling (APS) systems.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office including strong Excel skills is essential.Basic knowledge of UniBasic programming and UniData database is desirable.Visual Basic / VBScript Programming is a distinct advantage.Proficient in excel VBA / Scripting /SOLI /HTML/SSRS. In return, the Analyst will receive a very competitive salary DOE. Holidays start at 33 days per year (including stats) rising to 35 after 5 years’ service.  Normal working hours are Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 4.15pm, Friday 8.00am to 3pm with half-hour meal break each day.
