Senior Power Electronics Engineer£60k+ - Birmingham About the roleBased in Birmingham an opportunity has become available for a Senior Power Electronics Design Engineer who is well versed in the design of converters and Ideally inverters (DC-DC, AC-DC, DC-AC).You will have a proven background ideally from an automotive industry but other industries including traction, solar and renewables would be considered. You will be joining a team of expert engineers who are leading the way in the field of motor drive technology and will be responsible for full product lifecycle from design to product release.Other tasks include: SMPS, PSU and inverter design.Simulation and circuit design.Writing design specifications.Leading design reviews.The successful candidate will have a degree in electronics or electrical engineering with exposure in the following:10kw to 100kw inverter design.Design for EMC.Design for manufacture.Test and evaluation.BenefitsOn offer is a rewarding package including life assurance, pension scheme, bonus scheme, healthcare alongside a circa £60k salary based on experience.IC ResourcesIf this is something you are interested, please do not hesitate to get in contact as opportunities like these aren't around for long.
