IT Manager - Wokingham - Up to £65,000 DOEWe're looking for driven and forward thinking IT Managers to join our growing business and help our computer, networking and telephony teams excel. Both leading from the front to interact with senior stakeholders as well as be hands-on amongst the teams when needed.Main responsibilities: Lead the infrastructure team to deliver a first class IT service to your stakeholders and your customers. Maintain high availability of core business services, i.e. Email, internet, telephony system etc.Monitor critical infrastructure to ensure any issues are proactively identified and resolved before they cause any issues for the business.Run the IT Department and manage a small team, cross training and learning new products.Ensure the security of IP, as well as business critical services ranging from E-mail to end user equipment.Liaise with senior leadership team to support the future of the company and it's product set, ensuring all technical requirements are met and scalable for future growth.Assess Risks in the IT infrastructure and communicate effective business focused solutions to remedy themEvaluate the needs of the current IT infrastructure within the business and produce solutions to fill current and future gaps Where possible implement internal infrastructure technology and solutions to streamline, safeguard and enhance productivity against departmental plans.Technical skills:Windows Server / RHEL / Debian ServerVMWare ESXi, WorkstationSecurity standards and frameworks (PCI-DSS a particular advantage)Firewall/Network AdministrationVPN and 2FACloud/VPS deployment experienceShell scripting (other languages also a plus)Good knowledge of Messaging systems: Exchange 2013 / Postfix / SkypeDatabase admin knowledge (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite)Network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, routing, switching, local infrastructure)Desktop Support (Windows / Mac / Linux)Telephony (VoIP/SIP)Qualifications:ITIL Certification, ITIL Foundation acceptableMCSE, RHEL or Cisco certificationProject management qualification (desirable)Interested?
