Job Role - Hyperion Senior Developer

Location -Northampton

Client is after a senior developer should be able to design, develop and maintain applications using Oracle Essbase and Hyperion Planning 11.x to deliver fully integrated financial reporting, planning and analysis capability. Essential Skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Engineering required Must have prior proven experience in design and development of complex driver based forecasting applications using Oracle Hyperion Planning on multiple country rolloutDevelop, update, and maintain not limited to but including: Calc scripts, Load rules, BSO Outlines, ASO Outlines, MaxL/MDX scripts, Materialized aggregated views.Working with both multidimensional and relational database technologies to create application architecture consistent with the balance of the application portfolioStrong knowledge of SQL (familiarity with Hadoop / Hive) added advantage.Good hands on one of these different Business Intelligence tools (OBIEE, Tableau, Power BI etc.) Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications: Experience with analytics in Bank Cards or related financial service industry combined, with an understanding of a credit card P&L a big plus.Familiarity or hands-on experience with open source Data science technologies/algorithms such as Python, R/ Time-series forecasting models adds an advantageAdvanced degree or Management Accountant experience.
