They help customers by installing automatic number plate recognition to improve ease of parking and increase security. They are working with a number of exciting clients such as McDonalds, CBRE and Fitness First! The company are looking for an analytically minded graduate to join the team as a Business Analyst / Power BI Analyst.

Job description

In this Business Data Analyst role you will be responsible for data analysis, cleansing and structuring using Power BI. You will be using strong analytical skills to create reports sent out to customers to provide insight on parking management. The company are looking for someone with a strong work ethic who will be able to take control of analysis, reporting and improvements within the business, having complete ownership of the role.

Key responsibilities

In this Business Analyst job your responsibilities will include:

Building dashboards, reports and visualisations using Power BI

Automating daily, weekly and monthly reports to be sent out to clients

Cleansing and extracting data from various sources

Creating documents for procedures and training materials for Power BI design and development

Assess areas for improvements and make suggestions for actionable items

Maintain relationships between internal individuals to understand business needs for analysis

Job requirements

Professional experience using Power BI

Additional experience in the following is desirable: SQL, Python, R, Visual Basic

A 2.1 or above from university

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Forms, Flow, SharePoint, PowerApps)

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and spot trends to influence future actions

Great work ethic, interest in technology, a good sense of humour and team spirit!
