Infrastructure EngineerOur global client who have experienced genuine growth in recent times, is looking to expand their team by appointing an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis, in London. The Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for the implementation, configuration and ongoing management of the company's global IT infrastructure. The Infrastructure Engineer will also contribute to the ongoing technical dialogue around new solutions and implementations, promote best practice and complete on time agreed improvements to future-proof systems that support the business' technical needs. IT Infrastructure performance, resilience and security will be your greatest concerns.Infrastructure Engineer - Key Skills:

'€¢Experience working in a third line support role'€¢Proven experience of autonomous working in a network infrastructure role'€¢Excellent problem solving/root cause analysis skills across technologies'€¢Good standard of English language proficiency '€¢Experience in physical hardware builds, including servers and networks'€¢Good knowledge of Distributed Systems, Databases, Security, Networking & Load Balancing, Systems Monitoring etc'€¢Proven expertise with administering network protocols such as TCP, UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, and Security APIs'€¢General multi-platform system administration: configuration, installs, automation, and monitoring'€¢Solid understanding of networking concepts and functional working skills with various network technologies (DNS, proxies, load balancers, firewalls etc)'€¢Proven experience with many of the following:

'€¢Windows Server 2008 through 2016'€¢Microsoft Exchange 2010 through 2016'€¢Microsoft SQL 2008 through 2017'€¢VMware ESXi, VMware vCenter'€¢Network Storage technologies'€¢Veeam backup and replication software'€¢Linux'€¢Configuration Management Suite

Infrastructure Engineer - Desirable Skills:

'€¢Knowledge of (private) cloud computing infrastructure'€¢VoIP/ Mitel  Phone system management'€¢Mobile Device Management / Mobile Application Management'€¢Working experience in authentication technologies i.e. ADFS, SAML 2.0'€¢Experience with security controls i.e. VPNs, encryption & key/certificate management, endpoint protection, virtual firewalls/ACLs/NSGs, setting up bastion nodes, etc)'€¢Web services IIS/ Apache'€¢Windows deployment Services
