Lead Full Stack Developer / Engineer (PHP CakePHP JavaScript MySQL). Are you a web technologist seeking a senior role where you can make a real impact? As a Lead Full Stack Developer you will oversee the ongoing architectural evolution of web based trading systems; managing code quality, setting and maintaining coding standards and managing web deliverables throughout the full software development lifecycle. You'll build a high performing team of backend, frontend and full-stack developers through coaching, mentoring and recruitment, fostering a culture of continual improvement. Although the role is largely hands-off you will assist with development of new features to ensure a deep understanding of the codebase.

Requirements:

Strong team / technical leadership experience

Recent hands-on PHP / CakePHP experience and a good working knowledge of JavaScript and associated libraries

Good knowledge of MySQL (Oracle nice to have)

Comfortable working with stakeholders and other team leads and contributing to high level technical discussions

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire
