Application Support Analyst (Microsoft Dynamics AX) Application Support Analyst required for East Midlands client to work on MS AX Product - great opportunity for a support analyst to work in a structured project environment and with a D365 roll out not too far awy.Client DetailsManufacturing and Production client based in East Midlands seeking an Application Support Analyst (Microsoft Dynamics AX) Application Support Analyst (Microsoft Dynamics AX)DescriptionStandard System Checks and MaintenancePerform routine system checks, identify issues and take action / make recommendations as appropriateMaintain application configuration tables and parametersMonitor batch schedules and restart background jobs as necessaryManaging Support Incidents and RequestsTake ownership for incidents and service requests logged by end-users.Diagnose and resolve issues in a timely mannerFollow standard processes to escalate through the appropriate team(s), and manage through to resolutionLiaise with wider Group IT teams and third-party suppliers as necessaryProvide prompt and accurate feedback to the business usersIdentify recurring issues and deliver additional training and advice as appropriatePatching and Release ManagementProvide testing for patches and releasesPrepare and present changes to the Change Advisory Board (CAB) for approvalSupport for Small Changes and Continuous improvementAssist with development and delivery of small changesProvide training, advice and guidance to business users to ensure that small changes are successfully implementedIdentify areas for improvement and provide input to Continuous Improvement plansAssess the impact of small application changes and provide estimatesDocumentationBuild and maintain knowledge base support documentation and share with other support teamsAssist with building and maintaining end user guidesBest PracticeResponsible for sharing best practice and keeping up to date with latest Microsoft Dynamics AX developments ProfileApplication support analyst with 2+ years experience in Support Analyst positionAt least 1 years' experience working with Microsoft Dynamics AXSelf autonomous with drive to seek areas of improvementClear communicator with strong documentation skillsExperience working in a structured project environmentIdeally experience working in Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Production, FMCG sectors and knowledge of Purchasing and Finance processesApplication Support Analyst (Microsoft Dynamics AX)Job Offer£35,000 - £45,000 + benefitsApplication Support Analyst (Microsoft Dynamics AX)
