SAP Business Analyst - Greater Manchester - FI/CO

Join this multinational manufacturer as their specialist Business Analyst for their European Finance departments. The global business is undergoing major transformation and change and there is huge scope of work to be undertaken.

The client are a technology manufacturer and this role is based out of their European headquarters in Greater Manchester. They operate in a fast-paced, Agile environment with changing needs and priorities, and need someone self-sufficient and adaptable.


SAP Business Analyst - Greater Manchester - FI/CO

Working with the Finance Product Owner, the Business Analyst will have responsibility for liaising with the Finance teams of over 25 European countries to deliver transformational change in line with business needs. This will be a very people-facing position and therefore excellent communication skills are required.

  • Work with Finance Managers and SAP SuperUser community to capture and prioritise new business requirements and map out current challenges and problems
  • Document finance business processes and attain a deep understanding of these, and how they vary from country to country
  • Produce clear technical specifications based on the business requirements of your stakeholders
  • Produce suggestions for improving current business processes
  • Identify training needs, and opportunities to educate business users on best use of the system


The successful candidate will be an experienced business analyst who is capable of working independently and responding quickly to fast-changing priorities. We are looking for the following skills/experience:

  • In depth knowledge of Finance business processes (AR, AP, Expenses, Payroll etc)
  • SAP FI/CO experience - demonstrable history of supporting SAP FI/CO modules
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt
  • High-level communication skills, particularly written (very important as many of your key stakeholders/customers will be English-as-a-second-language speakers)
