SOC-Security Analyst- Midlands-Permanent Role New and exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Security Analyst looking for the next stage in their career working in a security operations centre (SOC)Our client is a global organisation with several clients throughout the world looking for a Security Analyst with a demonstrable interest in IT Security to join their already talented team based in the MidlandsYou will be working in partnership with the cyber security team representing security strategy and security interest across all levels of the business. Minimum 12 months experience in a SOC with SIEM tool experience a must.Required skills and experience:Demonstrable interest and passion in cyber securityStrong IT skillsEvidence of delivering effective incident managementAbility to problem solveGood understanding of cyber security and cyber security threat landscapeExcellent communication skills; written and verbal and the ability to communicate with individuals at different levelsWorks well in a team environment and demonstrates personal leadership and initiativeAbility to support multiple services under deadlinesTakes responsibility for learning about current products/systems to build own technical knowledgeMinimum 12 months previous experience in a SOCSIEM tool experience a must- QRadar, Log Rhythm, Tenable, Dark Trace Personal Profile:The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in IT and cyber security and have excellent interpersonal skills. You will be passionate, driven individual dedicated to your own continued professional development.
