Job Title: Test Analyst

Location: Southampton

Contract duration: 6 Months initially (Inside of IR35)

The client is looking for an experienced Test Analyst to work on a projects building a Azure based platform. The Test analyst will be working within a agile team with Software Engineers, Test Engineers and Test Lead in delivering functional and non-functional requirements.

Essential:

*Excellent knowledge and skills in software testing & industry best practice

*Proven analytical skills, designing and driving tests around TDD/BDD for functional and non-functional test activities is essential

*Experience of performing non-functional testing is essential

*Experience of testing on a cloud platform is essential

*Experience of designing test suites in a test-first CI/CD environment is essential

*Experience of allocating and prioritising own work and working across multiple delivery teams

*Excellent knowledge of agile methodologies and working closely with engineers, contribution on process improvement

*Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and customers

Desirable:

*Proven technical skills in one or more of the following technologies Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, JMeter, Specflow and PyCharm is desirable

*Programming skills in C#, Scala or Python are desirable

*Experience of Azure Databricks is desirable

*Awareness of geospatial systems and technologies is desirable but not essential
