Product Owner London to £85k
Product Owner (Web API UX). Technology savvy Product Owner with a software development background sought by specialist technology company that provide a distributed, real-time engine integrated to clients to enable things such as Live Chat, real-time scoring, real-time location tracking, live documentation sharing, MMO games and eLearning to name but a few.
As a Product Owner you will work with senior stakeholders and engineering managers to maintain the product and platform roadmap. You will drive initiatives to validate demand and commercial value of new features, from gaining an indepth understanding of customer problems via research, engagement with the developer community and customer engagement. You'll be embedded within delivery teams, UX and engineering to make trade-offs, steward the delivery process and close the gaps in requirements including producing technical documentation along with wireframes and API scaffolding where appropriate.
Based in North London, you can enjoy a start-up environment with casual dress code; and the ability to work from home if desired and collaborate via Slack (regular visits to the office will be required).
Requirements:
You have experience with product delivery of APIs and developer focussed web products
You're able to solve a diverse range of problems that range from technical API design through to user focussed UX challenges
You're confident liaising with clients and able to form strong working relationships
You have a software engineering background and are able to write code (in any modern language) to build prototypes; strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
Advanced written and verbal communication skills
