Software Assurance Consultant

Software Assurance Consultant is required by a global Intelligence and National Security, Science and Technology organisation who are looking for a Software Assurance Consultant to join them on a permanent basis in either their Boscombe Down, Malvern or Lincoln offices.

As the Software Assurance Consultant, you will be supporting Software delivery across multiple projects, you will be part of a team that provides an Independent Technical Assessment of the software. You will lead the assessment of third-party software and/or software documentation for adequate safety and conformance to standards.

Essential Skills for the Software Assurance Consultant:Eligible for SC clearanceSkilled across the full software development lifecycleExperience as a technical assessor or interest in to move into this fieldStrong communication skillsAnalytical thinker and problem solverPassion for ITHonours Degree in a Software or Safety Engineering discipline, or equivalent professional qualifications and experience

Desirable Skills for the Software Assurance Consultant:Experience of military / civil standards for software safetyPostgraduate Qualification in Software or Safety Engineering disciplinesMembership of relevant professional body
