Job DescriptionA leading financial services company based in Edinburgh is currently expanding their team and are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to drive research forward in the implementation of predictive models. This role will be a huge part of their business functions within a project based environment.Role & ResponsibilitiesWorking within Agile project teams in the implementation of models and applying data science techniques to advise business decisions Engaging with clients to understand their business problems to create analytical solutions Collaborating with Data Scientists to produce the best models to innovate changes to the businessArticulating complex analysis of ideas to stakeholders in business terms which will add value to their processesSkills & QualificationsHighly experienced in data science, with expert knowledge of implementing solutions through end-to-end projectsSolid knowledge of either Python or R programming Comfortable engaging with stakeholders and communicating complex analysis in simple termsBasic SAS skillsBenefitsGenerous pension scheme Up to 25% bonus based on individual and company performanceDiscount on multiple company products
