Software Engineer Our Defence client are looking to appoint an innovative and passionate Software Engineer to join an established, highly skilled and dynamic team of 5 to work on a brand-new system relating to the control and monitoring of unmanned vehicles. This is an exciting project where you'll have the opportunity to support the creation of a new, world class product.Working within a fast-paced agile environment you'll use WPF C# to support the application development to provide next generation capability across several key programmes of work, supporting our largest Defence customers.You'll be part of a team tasked with creating next generation cutting edge products that enhance the MOD's current capabilities and provide a range of capabilities that enable MOD personnel, first responders and commercial workers to stay out of harm's way.The FitWe are looking for an innovative and passionate Software engineer, looking for a challenging role on a new project. You will be in a hands-on technical role, working in a fast-paced agile team, tackling challenging problems with innovative solutions. You will have previous experience developing WPF C# applications at commercial level & ASP.Net development.Working closely with our clients, you will be able to elicit requirements, contribute to client demos and ensure the service meets our customers' requirements. Our staff are passionate about what they do, able to embrace emerging technologies and positively apply these into our daily working practices.Key SkillsExperience developing WPF C# applicationsKnowledge of Server/Client architecturesUse of .NET tech such as WCF and MEFKnowledge of Database software packages such as PostgreSQL and MSSQLAgile / Scrum developmentInstallation and support of software systemsDocumentation writing and maintenance
