A Senior Embedded Software Engineer is now needed as part of expansion of a world leading technology solution provider based in Sheffield. Your role as the Embedded Software Engineer within the team will be working on their low level embedded software programming in C++/C language. The company also offer remote working for 2/3 days per week!!!The company are family owned as well as offices in America. As their Senior Software Engineer you will report into their Embedded Software lead. This is the ideal role if you are looking for a hands on role with the flexibility to be creative and to put your own stance, having your say on the directions of the software/projects. They have a large Roadmap of new projects and work with and are an extremely friendly and people focused company being in the top 100 companies to work for also. This role is fun, fast moving and dynamic!Some of the key skills they are looking for are the following:-- Excellent working knowledge of C++ and C on embedded platforms- Experience working with Qt UI development- Application level embedded Linux development- Proven OO software design skills- Proven ability to resolve complex problems on embedded solutions- Experience of Integration of embedded devices with SaaS cloud platforms or Windows/Linux applications via TCP/UDP/IP.The company also offer a Bonus alongside basic salary which is quarterly as well as flexible working and remote working.A appreciate that you may not have all the skills listed but if you feel that this would be suitable for you or you know someone that you can recommend please do not hesitate to get in touch!!!
