IT Auditor

IT Audit / Auditor / CISA / Permanent / Warwickshire

My market leading and award winning client in Warwickshire, known for being a great place to work, is looking for an experienced IT Auditor to join their growing Audit Department.

The IT Auditor will be responsible for performing IT audits identified in the Audit Plan in accordance with departmental quality standards, SLAs and best practice. The role will also provide technical expertise and insight within the IT arena.

Key Responsibilities:

*Define and perform individual IT audits to ensure they reflect the operational and business environment, are effectively delivered, and meet the requirements of the Audit Plan and Group Internal Audit quality standards and KPIs.

*Assist with the development and improvement of Internal Audit tools, processes and procedures, aligned with best practice, to improve the quality and consistency of audits.

*Build and maintain relationships with relevant business representatives.

Key Skills and Experience:

*Proven ability to perform a wide range of IT audit work, having successfully assessed IT process and controls, including General and Application controls, IT Projects, DRP, etc.

*Self motivated, and driven to achieve top quality and timely results.

*Strong investigatory and analytical skills.

*Excellent verbal and written communication skills you will have experience of using CAATs, ideally ACL.

*Self confidence and the ability to effectively communicate and deliver under to strict timescales. Proficient use of current versions of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Access is a must.

*Ideally qualified as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or equivalent.
