Cyber Security Operations Manager

My nationally recognised, award winning client is looking for a Cyber Security Operations Manager to join their growing Security team at their head office in Coventry, Warwickshire.

Key responsibilities:

*To plan, direct and control the functions and operations of the Managed Security Services, Security Operations Centre (SOC).

*To monitor and analyse security events to protect information and assets from unauthorized access, misuse, modification or destruction.

*Escalation of incidents and alerts to appropriate business units for validation/investigation.

*To ensure adherence to regulatory compliance, governing information security and industry best practices.

*Provide active defence to cyber attacks.

*Provide proactive planning to cyber incidents.

*Provide develop and provide security reporting metrics and KPI's.

*To manage the CSOC service providers.

Key skills and experience required:

*Demonstrable experience in the Cyber Security field.

*Prior security analyst / consultant experience is required.

*Experience managing a SOC is required.

*Prior MSS SOC Management experience highly desired.

*Prior Security Engineering Experience desired.

*Desirable certifications include, Security+, CEH, GCIA, GCIH, CISSP or similar.
