Senior Java Engineer - Data & Insights (Greenfield Platform)

Senior Java Engineer (Multithreading, Concurrency, microservices) - Our market leading planning and insights FinTech valued at over £1.5billion is recruiting a Senior Java Engineer to develop a system helping financial companies make better informed decisions. You'll engage in the design and development of a Greenfield Java platform. Our Senior Java Engineer will be working on Java 8-11, JVM Performance Tuning Garbage Collection and highly complex multi-threaded algorithmic problems.As the Senior Java Engineer you will be exposed to:Multithreaded Java microservices scaled through various software container tools including Docker and Kubernetes.Apache products Cassandra/ Kafka and cloud-based deployment on AWS.Agile development methodologies with TDD / BDD and continuous integration.The full development of graphical user interfaces, coding automated tests on client and server-side software components.

You as the Senior Java Engineer (Multithreading, Concurrency, microservices) will have autonomous control of the project, working closely with the Principal Engineer to build a system that is critical to the continued growth of the business.
