Job Role: Senior Developer (C# .NET)

Location: Warwickshire

Salary: Up to £54,000 per annum + Company Car

C# / ASP.NET / .NET Core / Azure / JavaScript/ Angular / Vue / NodeJS / TDD / Agile

My client is looking for an experienced C#, ASP.NET developer to help expand their award-winning development team based in South Warwickshire. The dev team is responsible for the online side of the business and work on e-commerce, finance, insurance and online customer service.

You will be involved in operating a suite of applications and services that help the wider business keep a competitive edge by giving them real-time access to information about the business, and the services they operate.

They are looking for someone with good software development experience, specialising in Microsoft technologies, whilst still being open to other emerging technologies. You will need to be comfortable working with a small team of developers and working alongside a web designer to complete tasks.

You should understand how systems work with each other and how users interact with services, as well as the importance of researching and gathering requirements from users. You will utilise proven techniques and patterns to deliver solid results, being involved in the inception, planning, rollout and on-going maintenance of new and existing projects.

You should also be able to confidently explain your ideas to the team and to senior management and demonstrate your ideas quickly using whiteboards, wireframes and prototypes.

You should have experience using:

*C# and ASP.NET (Core versions are a bonus)

*Azure or other cloud platforms

*Front-end scripting, JavaScript design patterns and frameworks

*Version control systems

*Test-driven development, continuous integration and deployment

*Agile methodologies throughout development and delivery

You should also be familiar with:

*Angular, React, Vue or other front-end frameworks

*The importance of performance and availability in each layer of the stack

It would also be beneficial if you have any knowledge or experience of technologies such as:

*AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Heroku Node.JS, Redis or Mongo
