Location split: Corsham / Portsmouth

Project Manager

A Technical PM is required to support the Cyber Delivery Team (CDT) to manage the installation of a DCC node onto the QEC. The role will be full time principally based at Corsham and Portsmouth, but with travel likely to other locations such as supplier site. The role will be required to:

* Capture installation requirements

* Develop and agree the installation plan including identifying pre-requisites/dependencies, mandatory platform approvals (safety, security, etc.), testing and acceptance

* Co-ordinate stakeholders including suppliers, CDT, Navy CMD, Joint User and others, and support CIWG

* Manage implementation, providing reporting to CDT, ownership and production of schedule, risks and any other required ISS PM documentation

* Act as POC for resolution of technical issues, drawing upon SME support from across the stakeholder group

Key skills and experience:

* Experience of requirements capture in support of CIS installation aboard Maritime vessels

* Experience of Capability Delivery in MOD, utilising DLOD methodology

* Experience of project management of CIS integration/implementation

* Experience of stakeholder management within Defence, including CIWG. Navy stakeholder experience desirable

* Knowledge of military platform upgrade / change e.g. understanding of MOD requirements, process for platform upgrades, knowledge of DE&S Ships change procedures, testing and acceptance into service

* Knowledge of technical CIS/Communication systems integration, ideally on military platforms

* Knowledge of MOD Cyber Capabilities, CySAFA, Defensive Cyber Capabilities (nice to have)
