Third parties are increasingly entrusted with handling Shell information assets and systems. Shell Information Risk Management (IRM) leadership team has adopted a new supplier assurance strategy to gain deeper understanding of the security posture of its IT suppliers, and other third-parties. The new strategy introduces continuous monitoring of a broad range of risk categories such as application security, patching cadence and network security. A project to implement the Supplier Assurance Strategy will rapidly onboard a large number of suppliers to the technology and processes needed to achieve continuous monitoring.RoleThis position will be responsible for coordinating internal stakeholders and on-going monitoring actions Supplier Assurance strategy implementation project. The successful candidate will be an important team player supporting the Project team with driving improvements of supplier risks in close cooperation with the Business.ResponsibilityFacilitate the third party security assessments / audits scoping process;manage the execution of third party security assessments / audits;Completes quality control reviews and testing to ensure procedures are followed for execution of third party audits;Coordinate the communication of the results of supplier assurance activities from multiple risk dimensions;Translate audit findings into recommendations for action;Work with internal teams to ensure suppliers meet compliance requirements;Directly support the leadership team in identifying, prioritizing and pursuing improvement opportunities.Required SkillsBachelor's degree required with MBA preferred and approximately 5 years of related work experience;Understands Information Security and IT Risk Management Practices, preferably holding a relevant professional certification such as CISM or CISA;Strong candidates will have previous experience in fields of TPRM, GRC, Supplier Management, Internal Audit or Reg & Compliance;Exceptional problem solving & analytical skills, ability to quickly identify business challenges and clearly articulate creative, practical solutions;Continuous improvement mindset that drives for best-in-class performance with a holistic view of process, technology, and data;Experience in driving change across organizations to adhere to/adopt new ways of working;Has the ability to develop actionable recommendations and implementation plans;Excellent interpersonal communication skills, written and verbal;Strong influencing skills, able to get buy-in and commitment from both internal and external stakeholders.Michael Bailey International is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
