Digital IC Design Engineer
Duration - 6 months
Location - Norway
IC Resources are currently working with a client in Norway who are looking for a Digital Design Engineer who can join them for an initial 6 month project. The client specialise in designing IC's for the wireless and telecommunication markets and are looking for for an engineer with Design, Verification and ideally prototyping skills.
The majority of the role would be designing RTL for ultra low power design and integration of existing and third party IP. Experience with Synthesis, timing and power analysis would be beneficial as would strong scripting skills. Strong verification experience is preferred however the majority of environments and testbenches will be created by the verification team. Due to the scale of the project prior knowledge of working on FPGA prototyping and hardware emulators could also be very beneficial.
In this role you will need the following skills.
* Excellent knowledge of digital design techniques.
* Proficient in RTL design with coding experience in VHDL or Verilog.
* Good verification and debug experience
* Proficient in the use of ASIC simulation and synthesis tools.
* Understanding of emulation tools beneficial.
* experience of working on IC designs for Wireless comm's
