Sales Director - Semiconductors

Sales Director required for a Fabless Semiconductor company based in the South East of England.

You will be responsible for identifying, qualifying and winning new business within custom ASIC and IC Design. Suitable candidates will ideally be familiar with FPGA's and ASIC's, as well as having a previous background in electronic component sales.

Experience selling into automotive tier 1's, OEM's, industrial and/or healthcare is a must, and experience selling within Germany, Scandinavia, USA and China would be advantageous.

You will also have experience reporting at board level as well as pitching high level proposals.

This is a home based role with global travel, however predominately across Europe. You would be expected to travel between 50-60% of your time, including travel to regional offices in the UK and overseas.

Sales Director Requirements:

* Minimum of 8 years of technical sales at a senior level within the electronics/semiconductor industries

* Degree qualified within Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar discipline

* An understanding of ASIC development flow would be beneficial, but not essential

* Ability to travel extensively

* Ability to appoint and manages reps and distributors

* Experience managing and growing a sales team
