Michael Page Technology are retained to help recruit a Regional IT Lead/Manager for our client. This role will report into the Global CIO and have a dotted line to the European CFO. Our client has over 24 offices across Europe and a large SAP footprint which is centralised in France, other manufacturing sites exist across the continent. Client DetailsWe are looking for an experienced IT Manager with strong management and leadership skills - leading one dispersed team, with one implementation plan. You must be able to relate to the team and a background in Infrastructure and SAP would be highly beneficial.Regional IT Lead, enabling business through technologies for this region and ensures overall alignment of IT strategies with business. The position holder covers five dimensions within that region viz. hardware, software, Business process, Partner Management and Budgeting. This role will also focus on institutionalising the GDPR Act within the organisation over a period of time and ensure all stakeholders are compliant with the stipulations of the Act. The team is performing well in the I.T Infrastructure space although there are some ageing legacy systems - the ideal candidate will have significant experience with SAP, Infrastructure, Security, Project Management and People Management.From a cultural perspective our client would like to identify a resilient character to help them through period of transformation. You will need to build strong stakeholder relationships across Supply Chain, Sales & Marketing and Finance across the different geographies. Consult with administration, department managers, and manufacturing representatives to exchange information, present new approaches, and to discuss equipment/system changes

Provide technological guidance within to the region and the team

Assess and anticipate technology projects and recommend appropriate action and resources

Establish and direct the strategic and tactical goals, policies, and procedures for the information technology department

Establish and direct on Data privacy related requirements of EU. This includes coordination for audit related to it

Be a support to Inspection and spearheading the implementation of various tools and processes like EIM which supports data privacy Manage IT risk & compliance: Information security, data privacy

Create awareness of IT Security and risks. In collaboration with the Service Delivery Leadership Team (India), contribute to the development and delivery of the Regional IT strategy in support of the corporate plan

Propose hardware/software solutions to accomplish the company's business objectives

Create a cost-benefit analysis as well as supporting a detailed definition of data requirements and departmental workflows

Responsible for Managing regional IT Budget
